Who we are
Guardian Navigation is an Australian project focused on improving road safety and confidence for people travelling with caravans, motorhomes, and vehicles towing large trailers.
Most navigation apps are designed for standard passenger vehicles. Drivers towing caravans or operating larger vehicles can sometimes be directed through routes that may be unsuitable or unsafe, including low bridges, steep gradients, narrow streets, or restricted city areas.
Guardian Navigation is being developed to provide navigation designed specifically for these types of vehicles.
Our Mission
Our goal is to create a navigation platform that helps drivers and owners of caravans, motorhomes, and large trailers make safer and more informed route decisions.
The platform is designed to help drivers identify and avoid hazards such as:
Low bridge clearances
Restricted or unsuitable urban areas
Severe incline and decline gradients
Routes that may be unsuitable for larger vehicles or towing combinations
Who It’s For
Guardian Navigation is being designed to support:
Caravan owners travelling with their own vehicles
Motorhome owners and drivers
Drivers towing large trailers such as equipment or boat trailers
Caravan hire companies looking to support safer travel for their customers
People hiring caravans or motorhomes who may have limited towing experience
